WELCOME TO OLLIE WANDERS
I’m Louise- dog handler and cake decorator. I live in Auckland with my husband Zane and our three dogs: Ollie (Lab x Huntaway), Ivy (Staffy) and Neil (Huntaway x).
I’ve been working professionally with dogs for over 3 years, first at Pack Social, where I walked packs of up to 20 dogs of all breeds and sizes. And now for Positive Paws, where I continue to follow my passion for canine behaviour and understanding what makes each dog tick.
I’ve just started my own pack walking service- a step I’m excited to take as I grow in this field.
Before dogs, I worked in an office and never imagined my life would take this turn but working with dogs is more than a job to me. It’s the path I didn’t expect, but the one I was meant to take.
When I’m not out walking or training, you’ll find me decorating cakes or hanging out with my own little pack.

My first dog and the one who started it all. Ollie is a Lab x Huntaway- full of energy, drive and big feelings. He can be nervously reactive at times but he’s incredibly smart, loyal and deeply in tune with me.
Living with Ollie has pushed me to try understand dogs on a deeper level and sparked my passion for the path I’m on. He continues to teach me something new every single day.

Ivy is a Staffy through and through- intense, affectionate and a little bit crazy.
She’s wild, loving and completely unapologetic in everything she does.
Her big personality and even bigger heart bring chaos, comedy, and joy to our pack every day.
Living with Ivy has taught me the beauty of intensity and just how deeply a dog can love.

Neil is the youngest of the pack; a 7 month old Huntaway x with a calm, steady nature and a habit of launching himself off furniture like a pro wrestler.
He’s my first puppy, and raising him has been such a rewarding (and often challenging) experience.
Neil is goofy, grounded and incredibly intuitive.
He’s fit into our lives as if he was always meant to be here.
